By popular request, we’ll be trying out another style of group ride on a smaller scale.
Our typical group rides are destination rides that end at a nice place to eat lunch. They often go 100+ miles, may do stretches on large highways, and it’s up to you to find your own way back home.
This ride by contrast will be shorter, more local, and more welcoming to riders with smaller bikes that may not be fun to run down the highway at 70 MPH. If you’re new to riding in groups, this would also be a good ride to attend where you can learn some of the dos and don’ts of group riding.
The ride will both start and end at Motorcycles of Dulles. This ride is intended for beginners and riders of smaller bikes –Â not minibikes. Your bike should still be able to do highway speeds, even if we don’t intend to spend a lot of time going that fast. Think 300cc+, and able to hit 60 MPH for a while.
